Shipping and returns

We are proud to apply our sustainability policy to shipping and do what we can to reduce, re-use, and use biodegradable or compostable products.

When my art is all about celebrating the natural world, sustainability just makes sense.

We source compostable bubblewrap and packing tape from Zero Waste Company which breaks down in household waste or landfill. Yes, you can break it up and put in your home compost bin! We use biodegradable ribbon produced from 100% wood fibres.

Please excuse if we use a re-purposed box, too - we promise they are clean and appropriate.

We’d love for you to recycle or re-use our packaging as much as you can. Thank you.

It will soon be possible to purchase artworks direct through this website, from the artist. More information will follow at that point. Note that this website doesn’t show all available work. Click the Shop Online button to explore all available work.

Artworks purchased through other outlets will be subject to the shipping arrangements of those outlets. Bluethumb online gallery builds shipping costs into the published price for all-inclusive transacting with no additional costs. Shipping costs for individual pieces are otherwise shown at checkout.

How are paintings sent to buyers?

Items under 105cm are sent through Australia Post, boxed or rolled in a mailing tube if unstretched. Larger pieces are sent via courier service. All items can be tracked along the way.

Do you ship outside Australia?

Yes!

Are artworks framed?

Some pieces are sold framed, others are not. It depends on the vision for the work, or support/protection needs for the materials. In many cases I like to work using rolls of unstretched linen because it’s a wonderful high quality surface, and allows maximum size flexibility. These pieces are generally shipped unframed, rolled in a tube. Framing can be arranged, however.

Can you arrange framing for me?

Sure! If you purchase through Bluethumb there are handy options to select a frame at checkout, which will be applied to the artwork before it arrives at your door.

In other circumstances my team is happy to assist. Unstretched works can simply be stretched (or “wrapped”, if you like) over a backing frame to be hung that way, with edges showing. Otherwise we can help you with a custom frame for any piece. Costs of your personal choice would be added to the quoted price for the piece, or paid direct by you to the framer. Let’s talk!

Do you accept returns?

A lot of love goes into my work and I want you to love it, too. If you get your art home and something’s not right, you have seven days from the arrival date to request a return for full refund + reimbursement of the cost of return shipping (to the value of $100).

If purchasing outside of this website, please follow the procedures of that outlet. Otherwise, all you need to do is repackage it in the original packaging, and send us an email within (7) seven days of receiving it.

The same returns policy applies on Bluethumb and my Etsy shop.
