Original oil paintings by Canberra artist Victoria Collins, creating abstract nature and Australian landscape art for modern homes.

I’m drawn to cosy pockets of wildness -deep in the bush as well as urban areas, where they offer precious habitats for wildlife among us.

My artworks invite viewers to peer close, the same way as you lean in and become still to listen when someone speaks softly.

I like rich colour, nuanced tones and impressionistic flecks of colour that skip across the surface like sunlight across leaf, web or wing. I’m aiming for harmony and luminescence, using layers of textures and lost-and-found edges to speak of the forest’s timelessness and oneness.
